Practice - Touken Ranbu PVP Edit
The Practice selection in the Front Lines menu allows you to battle against other players. At the moment there is currently no option to search and challenge an specific individual player.
Your first/main party is the one that appears in other player's Practice matches. Japanese players have made it customary to put weak Swords in their main party to make it easier for other players to finish their daily Tasks.
Opponents available in Practice change twice a day at 3am and 3pm JST.
The players displayed are selected from your server. They are selected based player level; your opponents will be anywhere between 5 levels above or below your own player level. However the game will also select one player who is usually 30 player levels above your own as a challenge.
You can only battle each selected opponent once, you cannot rematch them to try for a better battle rank.
Once the Practice battle is over your party will recover from all damage:
- Swords cannot be destroyed in practice battles.
- Your Swords will also not grow fatigued from practice battles.
- You will also recover all Troops destroyed at the end of a Practice battle.
If your Swords experience a Medium Injury or trigger an Awakening in a Practice battle, the illustration will be recorded to your Sword Book. This makes Practice battles the safest way to unlock illustrations for Swords without risking the chance of losing them.
When you select an opponent to battle against. a good way to gauge whether or not your party will win is to compare party stats.
You may also want to check what type of Swords are in your opponents party and determine whether or not you want to battle against them. For example. if your opponent has 3 Oodachi Swords in their party, you might not want to battling against them unless you have the power and range to combat against that.
Keep in mind that your opponent's Troop Strength will be hidden, so in the stats window it will always show as 0. So be careful!
Defeat in Practice doesn't effect anything other than your Battle Record win/loss percentage.
